Company tour:
HTBLA Andorf visits RDG Recycling Group
Students in Years 2 and 4 at HTBLA Andorf had the opportunity to visit the RDG Recycling Group as part of a school trip. During the tour of the company, the students were able to gain a first-hand insight into the world of recycling and deepen their specialist knowledge of plastics technology.
Company tour with an expert guide
The students were welcomed by Production Manager Andreas Regl and shareholder Markus Zwingler, who gave them a tour of the RDG Recycling Group’s impressive production facilities. They explained all the company’s processes to the students, as well as how innovative machines such as shredders and extruders work. The tour gave the students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of recycling and gain an insight into modern technologies.
Knowledge sharing and face-to-face discussions
Excursions like this help students, teachers and industry professionals to share experiences. Throughout the tour of the company, the students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in dialogue with the experts from RDG Recycling Group. They were also able to gain a realistic insight into the world of work in the recycling sector.
A packed lunch as a thank-you for the visit
At the end of the company tour, the students received a packed lunch so that they could head home feeling refreshed. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to give the students an insight into working life and would like to thank HTBLA Andorf for their visit! We hope we were able to offer the students a few interesting and informative hours, and we would be delighted to welcome some of them back to our company in the future.
